WinterFEST: Soup Social at Hyde Playground

FEBRUARY 12, 2022 AT 6PM

Bundle up for some wintery fun at the WinterFEST Soup Social hosted by the Hyde Community Center Saturday February 12th at 6:00.  Enjoy a complimentary hot bowl of soup from O’Hara’s Food & Spirits, Lincoln Street Kitchen, Otake, Grape Leaf, The Dining Car, Dunn Gaherin’s, Buttonwood, Walnut Grille and hot chocolate from cacao served by several Newton notables - Mayor Fuller, Congressman Jake Auchincloss and members of the Newton City Council. From 6:00-7:30 pm keep warm by dancing to live music performances by The Porch Rockers preceded by Newton North High School Melocotones at the Hyde Bandstand. More fun includes a special appearance by Olaf from Frozen, giant puppets, the WinterFEST Moose mascot, outdoor games, hot chocolate and treats.
