What’s New at the Hyde for 2025

We’ve been busy sprucing up our building and our branding. Take a look below to see what’s new.

The New Hyde Logo

In 2024, the Hyde Board engaged a design team to refresh and modernize our logo, which hadn’t been updated in decades. They began by interviewing key stakeholders to understand different perspectives on The Hyde’s value to our community. The new logo (pictured right) seeks to capture the vibrancy of the Hyde and its programming. It is more than a community center; it is the Heart of the Highlands, drawing our village community together to enjoy the arts, food, culture, sports and more. Beyond that, The Hyde welcomes and connects all Newton residents, offering events and programs for all to enjoy. In addition to the logo, the designers provided new brand-aligned templates for our outdoor event banners, social media posts, our lobby slideshow, and more.

Facility Renovation

Over the holidays we also refreshed our facility. The new lobby doors bring in tons of light, and the very worn, decades-old dark flooring has been replaced with a durable, lighter color linoleum—all of which gives the lobby a brighter and more spacious feel. The new filtered water bottle refilling station is installed in the lobby and ready to use, and the gym floor gleams with its new coat of polyurethane. We hope you’ll stop by soon to see how great the building looks!
